Frequency States is a series of audiovisual works exploring how small differences in frequency shape listening and perception. The works draw on the principle of binaural beats and focuses on three frequency ranges linked to different listening states.

Alpha (8Hz) – Calm wakefulness, relaxation, and reflective listening.
Beta (25Hz) – Alertness, active thinking, and focused concentration.
Gamma (40Hz) – Heightened awareness, memory, and mental clarity.
Frequency States forms part of Temporal Space, a practice based research project exploring spatial sound, repetition, and meditative listening.
